Anna Oyer is a design and communications professional working in Omaha, NE as a member of the roundandround.co collaborative design team.
I’m a designer, art director, and creative strategist who thrives on working with mission-driven organizations for the long haul—getting to know their work, their goals, and how to communicate their impact.
I have 10+ years of experience in brand development, storytelling, multimedia content creation, managing workflows and campaign strategy, but I also used to run aquarium exhibits, study prairie dogs with the US Forest Service, manage healthcare programming & education in inpatient & clinic settings and tend bar at rock clubs. The diversity of my background lends me a unique ability to understand and translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals that educate and inspire action.
I believe good design serves as a tool to inform, explain and legitimize—it’s important to weild it for the greater good. My work has supported music and empowerment programming for femme-identifying youth, climate-conscious activism, comprehensive women’s healthcare, and data-driven interventions to reduce police violence and advance systemic justice, with notable successes like helping Omaha Girls Rock grow from a seasonal camp into a year-round nonprofit and delivering 80+ design projects within the first six months of working with Campaign Zero.
